Inspección del puente Quebrada Chiquita - Calle Chileperro-RVC Moravia

Abstract

Este informe de la inspección visual y evaluación del puente sobre la Quebrada Chiquita es un producto del convenio de cooperación suscrito entre la Municipalidad de Moravia y el LanammeUCR; con el objetivo de brindarle asesoría técnica a la Municipalidad de Moravia. El puente tiene una longitud total de 7.10 m y una luz libre inferior de 5.12 m. Tiene un ancho total de 9.15 m de los cuales 6.60 m corresponden al ancho entre las cunetas y 0.65 m al ancho libre de la acera. Este cuenta con barandas de concreto reforzado a ambos lados con una altura de 0.72 m. El puente da vía a dos carriles, uno por sentido. El puente es considerado apto para el tránsito vehicular y su estado es clasificado como moderado. Sin embargo se recomienda construir una estructura que proteja de la socavación a los cimientos de los aletones y bastiones y además realizar las mejoras sugeridas en seguridad vial y aquellas recomendadas para solucionar los problemas de drenaje existentes. Se recomienda realizar una inspección visual de al menos una vez al año como mínimo.

This report of the visual inspection and evaluation of the bridge over the Quebrada Chiquita is a product of the cooperation agreement signed between the Municipality of Moravia and the LanammeUCR; with the objective of providing technical advice to the Municipality of Moravia. The bridge has a total length of 7.10 m and a lower free light of 5.12 m. It has a total width of 9.15 m, of which 6.60 m correspond to the width between the gutters and 0.65 m to the free width of the sidewalk. This has reinforced concrete rails on both sides with a height of 0.72 m. The bridge gives way to two lanes, one in each direction. The bridge is considered suitable for vehicular traffic and its status is classified as moderate. However, it is recommended to build a structure that protects the foundations of the walls and bastions from undermining and also make the suggested improvements in road safety and those recommended to solve existing drainage problems. It is recommended to make a visual inspection at least once a year.
