Abstract

Para el presente informe se utiliza un método propuesto por la American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) de Estados Unidos, para analizar la alternativa de colocar una sobrecapa de concreto. Se propone una alternativa de rehabilitación de un pavimento asfáltico fatigado: colocar una sobrecapa de concreto de cemento Portland que proporcione la capacidad requerida, corrija el problema de deformaciones existentes y que controle los problemas de reflejo de grietas de las capas existentes agrietadas.

For the present report, a method proposed by the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) of the United States is used to analyze the alternative of placing an over layer of concrete. An alternative to rehabilitate a fatigued asphalt pavement is proposed: place an overlay of Portland cement concrete that provides the required capacity, correct the problem of existing deformations and control the problems of reflection of cracks in the existing cracked layers.
