Inspección del Puente Salitrillos sobre el Río Torres, Distrito San Rafael, Cantón Montes de Oca

Abstract

Este informe presenta información sobre la condición del puente y provee recomendaciones generales para resolver los daños observados. Se incluyen los formularios de inventario e inspección los cuales incluyen toda la información requerida para actualizar el programa informático de gestión de puentes SAEP administrado por el MOPT.

El estado de deterioro del puente es considerado crítico por el excesivo deterioro que presentan las vigas principales (exteriores) del puente. Este daño representa un peligro a la integridad estructural del puente y por ende a sus usuarios, por lo que se requiere de una inmediata intervención. Este puente se recomienda sustituirlo debido a su poca funcionalidad, al estado crítico en que se encuentran algunas de sus vigas principales y a la aparente poca capacidad hidráulica que provee el puente. Se recomienda que la nueva estructura cuente con capacidad para dos vías y un paso peatonal que cumpla con la ley 7600.

This report presents information on the condition of the bridge and provides general recommendations to resolve the damage observed. The inventory and inspection forms are included, which include all the information required to update the SAEP bridge management software administered by the MOPT. The state of deterioration of the bridge is considered critical due to the excessive deterioration of the main (external) beams of the bridge. This damage represents a danger to the structural integrity of the bridge and therefore to its users, which is why an immediate intervention is required. This bridge is recommended to replace it due to its low functionality, the critical state of some of its main beams and the apparent lack of hydraulic capacity provided by the bridge. It is recommended that the new structure has capacity for two roads and a pedestrian crossing that complies with the 7600 law.
