Inspección y evaluación del puente sobre el Río La Selva-Ruta nacional N° 748

Abstract

El estado de deterioro del puente sobre el Rio La Selva se clasifica como critico por la falla observada del bastión sur. Se recomienda construir uno nuevo (de carácter permanente) y así eliminar el bastión temporal de acero que actualmente brindaba soporte a la superestructura. Se observó indicio de socavación de la cimentación, por lo que se recomienda restablecer debidamente el suelo de cimentación y proteger la base de bastiones por medio de un enrocado o método similar. Se debe construir un sistema de drenaje para los accesos del puente que dirija el agua de escorrentía superficial directamente al cauce evitando la erosión de los taludes y el contacto del agua con los elementos estructurales del puente. Para seguridad vial se deberían tener barandas con pintura retroreflectiva y captaluces que aseguren la visibilidad del puente en horas de la noche.

The state of deterioration of the bridge over the Rio La Selva is classified as critical due to the observed failure of the southern bastion. It is recommended to build a new one (permanent) and thus eliminate the temporary steel bastion that currently supported the superstructure. There was an indication of scouring of the foundation, so it is recommended to properly restore the foundation floor and protect the base of bastions by means of a rock or similar method. A drainage system must be constructed for the accesses of the bridge that directs the surface runoff water directly to the channel avoiding the erosion of the slopes and the contact of the water with the structural elements of the bridge. For road safety should be railings with retroreflective paint and high raised markers that ensure the visibility of the bridge at night.
