TRABAJOS DE CONSERVACIÓN EN LA RUTA NACIONAL N°32. TRAMO: INTERSECCIÓN RUTA NECIONAL NO.4-RÍO JIMÉNEZ

Abstract

El objetivo de la realización de las auditorías técnicas externas por parte de LanammeUCR es brindar un conjunto de hallazgos y observaciones desde una perspectiva constructiva, para que sea una herramienta útil para la Administración en la implementación de mejoras necesarias y proporcionar un aporte para optimizar los procesos relativos con la gestión de la infraestructura vial en nuestro país. De acuerdo con visitas realizadas a la Ruta Nacional No. 32, en el tramo comprendido entre la intersección con Ruta Nacional No. 4 hasta Río Jiménez, se pudo observar que se colocaron sobrecapas extensas sobre la superficie existente. Aunque no se conoce el criterio técnico por el cual se colocaron, es importante mencionar que no se hizo un perfilado previo, lo que podría provocar que deterioros existentes como los que se notan actualmente en la superficie antigua y los observados antes de la colocación de la sobrecapa, se reflejen rápidamente a la superficie nueva, poniendo en riesgo la inversión realizada. Por otro lado, se encontró un tramo con exudación severa, lo que atenta con la seguridad vial y con durabilidad de la sobrecapa al ser susceptible a deformaciones permanentes. Se debe mencionar también que esta sobrecapa fue colocada encima de la demarcación realizada este mismo año, y a pesar de que el último tramo intervenido fue el 18 de agosto, hasta la fecha de la última visita, permanecía son pintura ni captaluces. En cuanto a drenajes, se pudo observar que en algunos tramos de la sobrecapa colocada existen sitios donde se acumula agua superficial al lado de la carretera, producto de la falta de cunetas, lo que podría provocar deterioros al borde de la sobrecapa y deformaciones de la base y la subrasante consecuencia de la afectación de la capacidad de soporte por saturación de agua de tales capas de la estructura.

The objective of external technical audits by LanammeUCR is to provide a set of findings and observations from a constructive perspective that become a useful tool for the Administration in the execution of necessary improvements and provide a contribution to optimize the processes related to the management of the road infrastructure in our country. According to visits made to National Route No. 32, in the section between the intersection with National Route No. 4 and Río Jiménez, it was observed that extensive overlays were placed on the existing surface. Although the technical criterion by which they were placed is unknown, it is important to mention that a previous profiling was not made, which could cause that the existing deteriorations such as those currently noticeable in the old surface and those observed before the placement of the overlay, are quickly reflected to the new surface, putting at risk the investment made. On the other hand, a section with severe exudation was found, condition against road safety and the durability of the overlay when susceptible to permanent deformations. It should also be mentioned that this overlay was placed above the demarcation made this year, and despite the fact that the last section intervened was on August 18 and until the date of the last visit remained without painting or road reflectors. As for drainage, it was observed that in some sections of the placed overlay there are sections where surface water accumulates alongside the road, due to the lack of gutters, which could cause deterioration at the edge of the overlay and deformations of the base and the subgrade, consequence of affecting the water-saturating support capacity of such layers of the structure.
