Proyecto especial: Propuesta de rangos para la clasificación de la Red Vial Nacional

Abstract

Bajo el marco de la Ley No. 8114, le corresponde al LanammeUCR realizar cada dos años una Evaluación de la Red Vial Nacional (ERVN) pavimentada, la cual sirve como instrumento para la rendición de cuentas tanto de la gestión de dicha infraestructura como para la inversión pública realizada. Dentro del proceso de mejora continua del LanammeUCR, y con el propósito de cumplir con este mandato de ley, se presenta para la evaluación del año 2008, una nueva propuesta que toma en cuenta las distintas características de las rutas y que permite clasificarlas según su condición estructural y funcional con una mayor rigurosidad técnica. El objetivo general de este informe es brindar criterios, con fundamentos teóricos y técnicos, que permitan clasificar la evaluación de la Red Vial Nacional en términos de su capacidad estructural y funcional.

Under the framework of Law No. 8114, it is the responsibility of the LanammeUCR to carry out an evaluation of the paved National Road Network (ERVN) every two years, which serves as an instrument for the rendering of accounts of both the management of said infrastructure and the public investment made. Within the process of continuous improvement of the LanammeUCR, and with the purpose of complying with this law mandate, a new proposal that takes into account the different characteristics of the routes and that allows classifying them according to their structural and functional condition with a greater technical rigor, is presented for the evaluation of the year 2008. The general objective of this report is to provide criteria, with theoretical and technical foundations, to classify the evaluation of the National Road Network in terms of its structural and functional capacity.
