Monitoreo de tiempos de viaje de rutas de transporte público por autobús sobre el carril exclusivo de TIbás

Abstract

Se presentan las principales observaciones y resultados del monitoreo de los tiempos de viaje antes y después de la implementación del carril exclusivo para autobuses en el centro de Tibás. Se validaron los tiempos de viaje provistos por el operador por medio de levantamientos con GPS de carreras predeterminadas y se determinaron y analizaron los tiempos de viaje antes y después de implementada la intervención. Como resultado se muestra el ahorro en tiempos de viaje tanto para las rutas que utilizan el carril exclusivo en su totalidad, así como de forma parcial.

The main observations and results of the monitoring of travel times before and after the implementation of the exclusive bus lane in the center of Tibás are presented. The travel times provided by the operator were validated by means of GPS surveys of predetermined races and the travel times were determined and analyzed before and after the intervention was implemented.
