Mapas de accidentes de los distritos centrales del cantón de Heredia

Abstract

El presente informe muestra los resultados obtenidos durante el proceso de generación de diferentes mapas de accidentes generados para los distritos centrales del cantón de Heredia a partir de las colecciones de datos con las que cuenta el Observatorio de Seguridad Vial del Consejo de Seguridad Vial (Cosevi). Las colecciones de datos se encuentran disponibles en el enlace http://datosabiertos.csv.go.cr/home. El objetivo inicial fue el de generar información geográfica dentro de la zona analizada, así como poder mostrar gráficamente, por medio de mapas, la representación de diversas maneras de la ubicación de los accidentes en los diferentes distritos del cantón de Heredia en el periodo 2012-2015, con el fin de brindar herramientas de ayuda a tomadores de decisión a nivel local. Se generaron un total de 12 mapas.

This report shows the results obtained during the process of generating different accident maps generated for the central districts of the Heredia canton based on the data collections of the Road Safety Observatory of the Road Safety Council (Cosevi). The data collections are available at the link http://datosabiertos.csv.go.cr/home. The initial objective was to generate geographic information within the analyzed zone, as well as to be able to graphically show, through maps, the representation in different ways of the location of the accidents in the different districts of the canton of Heredia in the period 2012- 2015, in order to provide tools to help decision makers at the local level. A total of 12 maps were generated.
