MUROS DE GAVIONES EN LA TURA NACIONAL NO. 2 SECCIÓN 30740 Y 30750 LICITACIÓN PÚBLICA NO. LP-01-2005

Abstract

De la presente auditoría se brinda la siguiente información: En el caso específico en la Zona 1-7 sobre la Ruta Nacional No. 2, se han construido dos muros de gaviones de dimensiones similares entre sí, con 12 m de altura por 25 m de longitud aproximadamente, que por simplicidad en adelante se denominarán como el muro de la “Cuesta del Fierro”, localizado en el Km. 18+000 aproximadamente y el muro de Ochomogo en el Km 20+000. Dadas las grietas y hundimientos observados por el equipo auditor en el muro de la “Cuesta del Fierro” y la particularidad del procedimiento constructivo del muro de Ochomogo, se dio seguimiento a estos casos para evaluar su comportamiento y si las fallas observadas son progresivas. Esto ante la importancia e impacto al usuario de la vía en caso de que se produzca una falla de esta estructura. En el muro de la “Cuesta del Fierro”, una vez finalizada su construcción se han presentado figuraciones y asentamientos, según mediciones aproximadas de campo realizadas por el equipo auditor el muro presenta deformaciones representativas en los planos horizontal y vertical, que han obligado en repetidas ocasiones a tomar medidas correctivas que no han sido efectivas a lo largo del tiempo.

The following information is provided in this audit: In the specific case in Zone 1-7 on National Route No. 2, two gabion walls of similar dimensions have been built, with a height of 12 m and a length of approximately 25 m, which for simplicity will henceforth be called as the wall of the "Cuesta del Fierro", located at approximately 18 + 000 km and the Ochomogo wall at Km 20 + 000. Given the cracks and subsidence observed by the audit team in the wall of the "Cuesta del Fierro" and the particularity of the constructive procedure of the Ochomogo wall, these cases were followed up to evaluate their behavior and if the observed failures are progressive. This before the importance and impact to the user of the road in case of a failure of this structure. In the wall of the "Cuesta del Fierro", once its construction has been finished, it presented figurations and settlements, according to approximate field measurements made by the audit team the wall shows representative deformations in the horizontal and vertical planes, which have forced in repeated occasions to take corrective measures that have not been effective over time.
