Abstract

En el presente informe, se resume de una manera descriptiva los resultados generales de la encuesta de transporte llevada a cabo por el LanammeUCR durante el primer semestre del 2018. El propósito inicial de la encuesta consiste en caracterizar a los viajes de las personas usuarias de las instalaciones de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR). Esta caracterización y futuras investigaciones relacionadas con los patrones de viaje, podrían servir de información base para la elaboración de proyectos que mejoren la calidad de los viajes de los usuarios de las instalaciones de la Universidad de Costa Rica. LA elaboración de encuestas de movilidad, de una manera periódica en el futuro, permitirá generar tendencias en cuanto a los patrones y características de los viajes del personal docente y administrativo, así como del estudiantado de la UCR.

In this report, the general results of the transport survey carried out by the LanammeUCR during the first semester of 2018 are summarized in a descriptive manner. The initial purpose of the survey is to characterize the trips of the users of the facilities of the University of Costa Rica (UCR). This characterization and future investigations related to travel patterns, could serve as base information for the elaboration of projects that improve the quality of the trips of the users of the facilities of the University of Costa Rica. The elaboration of mobility surveys, in a periodic way in the future, will allow to generate tendencies regarding the patterns and characteristics of the trips of the teaching and administrative personnel, as well as of the students of the UCR.
